Process to follow when setting up Fortinet VPN on a Mac or Windows device.

Mac:
Installing FortiClient VPN
1. Download the FortiClient VPN installer with the link below:
2. Run the Installer from the downloaded location by double clicking on it.
3. Double Click on the ‘FortiClientUpdate’ file and click on ‘Open’. Allow a few moments for FortiClient to download and click Install.
4. Click Install.
5. Click Continue.
6. Click Agree.
7. Enter the credentials you use to login to your Mac and Click Install Software. Click Allow.
8. Click Close.
Windows:
Installing FortiClient VPN
1. Download the FortiClient VPN installer with the link below.
- https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads#vpn
2. Run the Installer from the downloaded location by double clicking on it.
3. Allow a few moments for FortiClient to download and select Yes, I have read and the accept the License Agreement > then click Next
4. Confirm the destination folder and click Next.
5. Click Install.
6. Click Finish.
Windows & Mac:
Launching and Connecting FortiClient VPN:
1. Click the VPN icon in your menu bar > select Open > FortiClient Console (MAC)
WINDOWS: Open FortiClient VPN which will located on your Desktop
2. Click on the I acknowledge box and click I accept.
3. Click Configure VPN.
VPN: SSL-VPN
Connection Name: CEWA VPN
Description: CEWA Remote Connection
Remote Gateway: Tick Customize port and enter 443
Authentication: Save login
Username: your CEWA email
4. Click Save
5. Click Connect to CEWA VPN.
6. Enter your CEWA password and Click Connect.
